MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW)-Changes are on the way at Broadway at the Beach. Broadway has been a staple to Myrtle Beach over the last twenty years and now locals and tourists will have new options to choose from. The Hard Rock Café is moving locations, a Dave and Busters is coming and two new night life businesses are on the way.
The American Tap House will open right across from the new Hard Rock Café. It is owned by the same operators as the Wicked Tuna in Murrells Inlet. It will offer more than 40 local and regional beers on tap. The gastropub will also offer American comfort food with a southern twist.
A new dance spot will open up in the same place where Revolutions used to be. The new place will be called “Oz.”
Each night, Oz will offer a different themed look, feel and design each night. One night you could be dancing under the stars in Paris, the next night you could be under the rings of Saturn.
City spokesman Mark Kruea says these news businesses will be great for everyone.
“Broadway, you may think of it as a visitor’s destination. But I know lots of locals who go look at Broadway, who go party at Broadway, who eat at Broadway, who stroll around the lake, who visit the aquarium, who visit the attractions, so it is much more than a visitor’s destination.”
Some of the new businesses coming will be open in time for the spring and summer seasons.
