Conway, S.C. (WBTW) — Coastal Carolina will host its first-ever Sun Belt Women’s Basketball Championship game Monday night as the eighth-seeded Chanticleers welcome the ninth seed Arkansas State Red Wolves to the HTC Center for a 7 p.m. contest.

The first round game is part of the new tournament format that the Sun Belt rolled out for the 2018-19 season. Only the top 10 teams in the Sun Belt make the conference tournament. The top six teams receive a first-round bye and advance straight to New Orleans, La., while the 7-10 teams play a first round game on campus sites with the seventh and eighth seeds hosting. The winners of the first round games will then advance to New Orleans.

Tickets for Monday’s game are $8 for adults and $5 for youth and can be purchased by visiting GoCCUSports.com or calling the Chanticleer Athletic Ticket Office at 843-347-8499. Like all regular season home games, Coastal Carolina’s clear bag policy will be in effect.

The game will be broadcast on ESPN+ with Zeke Beam and John Peters calling the action. Chanticleer fans in the Conway and Myrtle Beach areas can also listen to Enoch Davis call the game on WRNN 99.5 FM, while fans outside of the area can listen to the radio broadcast online. Updates will additionally be provided on Twitter by following @CoastalWBB.
