A news crew narrowly escaped being hit by an SUV while the TV workers were covering winter weather in the Norfolk area on Monday.

WAVY-TV News 10 reporter Erin Kelly and photographer Rob Rizzo were out in Hampton, Va. during Monday’s winter weather coverage.

As they covered road conditions from Mercury Boulevard in Hampton, the news camera was rolling live when an SUV careened out of control, crashed into another vehicle, then came barreling backwards toward the camera, stopping within inches.
