State Senator Gerald Malloy (D-Hartsville) introduced a resolution Wednesday (1/25) to allow gambling in the state — including casinos, horse racing, sports betting and video poker — with proceeds to go to the state’s retirement systems.
Similar bills have come up every now and then in recent years and gone nowhere.
This bill is now in a Senate committee.
