CONWAY, SC – The Rotary Club of Carolina Forest-Sunrise has announced the date of its upcoming “Flapjacks in the Forest” fundraiser will be held at Beef ‘O Brady’s in the Kroger Shopping Complex at the corner of HWY 501 and Carolina Forest Boulevard. The event is Saturday April 30, from 8 am to 11 am. The cost is $5 per person.
All proceeds will be used for Carolina Forest community projects such as:
· Providing Dictionaries to 3rd Grade Students
· Providing Shoes to Elementary Students
· Furnishing Clothing Closets in Elementary Schools
· Providing School Supplies in Elementary Schools
· Providing Scholarships to Carolina Forest High School, The Scholar’s Academy, and the PALMS school.
· Assisting projects within Street Reach, Fostering Hope, and Other Organizations
· Supporting the Rotaract Club at Coastal Carolina University and the Interact Club at the Scholars Academy
· And other local projects
