CAROLINA FOREST, S.C. (WBTW) – Carolina Forest star running back Dyverse Simmons is out for the rest of the season.
The senior tore his MCL, ACL and meniscus in a game against Hoggard on Friday night. He is one of the best players in the area and was averaging about 15 yards a carry this year for the Panthers.
Simmons said he is hopeful about his recovery. He will have surgery in six weeks and can resume football related activities in ten months.
