MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW)- Myrtle Beach Fire Rescue is reminding people to be careful when driving near emergency scenes, after one of its rescue vehicles was involved in a crash.
According to the Myrtle Beach Fire Rescue Facebook page, first responders were at the scene of a motor vehicle crash around 12:50 a.m. Sunday when a vehicle hit MBFR Rescue 616.
No first responders were hurt, but the driver of the vehicle was taken to Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.
On the post on its Facebook Page, MBFR reminds everyone to use extreme caution when near or in emergency scenes, to be aware of your surroundings, be ready to stop when you see flashing lights, obey all traffic laws, and to always avoid distractions while operating your vehicle.
