CALABASH, NC (WBTW) – The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office says they have arrested one person for robbing the PNC bank Friday in Calabash.
According to the release from Emily Flax with the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office the suspect was identified and taken into custody with the assistance of Agent Brian Truex of SLED and Coastal Carolina University Public Safety.
Kevin Michael Riera, 21, was taken into custody late Monday afternoon at his home on HWY 544 in Conway.
Riera is currently being held at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center where he will remain until he is brought back to North Carolina and formally charged with common law robbery and second degree kidnapping.
