MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Bond has been set for two men accused of multiple counts of attempted murder in connection with an Ocean Boulevard shooting in Myrtle Beach over Father’s Day weekend.

Bond was previously denied for the two North Carolina men, but on Tuesday, a different judge gave a new ruling.

On Jan. 7, Myrtle Beach municipal judge Glenn Ohanesian denied bond for Keyshawn Steele, 19, and Tyron Steele, 20, of Mount Gilead, NC. Both men are charged with six counts of attempted murder. The judge said both suspects are “potential serious dangers to the community.”

Just more than eight weeks later, the two suspects were back in court, and a different judge granted both men bond. Circuit Court Judge Steven H. John set a $100,000 surety bond for Keyshawn Steele, with stipulations that Steel have no contact with any victims or the victims’ family members. Steele is to live with his parents, the judge ordered.

Tyron Steele was granted a bond of $150,000 with GPD monitoring, no contact with any victims or family members of the victims and Steele is mandated to live with an aunt and uncle.

Assistant Solicitor Cara Walker argued in court Tuesday that no bond should be set for the two men, as they are a danger to the community and a flight risk.

Three other men were also arrested in the June shooting.

Police arrested Derias Little, 17, of North Carolina. Little was charged with the actual shooting that sent six people to the hospital. He was also charged with carjacking and possessing a weapon during a violent crime. Little was denied bond on all seven counts of attempted murder.

In July, Raekwon Tariq Graham, 18, of Troy, NC, was initially held without bond after he was charged with six counts of attempted murder in connection to the shooting. He was granted a $100,000 bond in December.

Jarvez Graham was also taken into custody in North Carolina and is awaiting extradition back to South Carolina where he will be served with arrest warrants, according to Myrtle Beach Police Capt. Joey Crosby.

At the time of this posting, online jail records indicate Keyshawn Steele and Tyron Steele are still behind bars.
