MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – A man wanted for a shooting in a Myrtle Beach hotel during Bike Fest 2014 was extradited from North Carolina to Myrtle Beach, according to Myrtle Beach Police Lt. Joey Crosby.

Cornelius Woods, 42, was identified in 2014 as the shooter in the Fountainbleau shooting that happened  over Memorial Day weekend. The Myrtle Beach Police Department issued warrants for woods for attempted murder, use of a firearm in a felony, and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.

Woods was arrested in May 2014 by High Point Police for an unrelated shooting in their area, and was booked into the Guildford County jail. He was charged with attempted murder and held on $1 million bond.

Woods is currently being held in the Myrtle Beach jail.
