Myrtle Beach, SC (WBTW) – Hundreds of high school aged basketball players are competing in the Big Shots Myrtle Beach Live I and II this weekend. Many college coaches and recruiters are on hand to scout and look to lock up some of the talent in the building, which includes the number 1 prospect for the 2020 class. Big Shots began back in 2006 with 3 events and 121 teams at Socastee High School. Prior to 2018, there have been 3,365 teams and 40.975 players at Big Shots events. Over 190 Big Shots alums are currently playing in the NBA and many got discovered in Myrtle Beach. The boys event runs through Sunday and the girls will participate July 25th and July 26th.
