CONWAY – Tyler Chadwick went 3-for-4 with four RBI including a three-run home run in the first inning, and Coastal Carolina rolled by Stetson 11-2.
Chadwick’s blast was part of a big inning in which Coastal sent 12 men to the plate and scored eight runs.
On the mound, Bobby Holmes got his first start of the season and picked up the win. The sophomore scattered nine hits and one walk while allowing two unearned runs and recording five strikeouts.
The Chanticleers (14-9) and Hatters (12-11) are set to meet again on Friday at 2 p.m., which is a change from the original schedule.
