WalletHub has released a study of the most expensive to give birth, health-care accessibility and baby friendliness of each state.
They say they used 17 metrics to determine the ranking.
Some of those metrics include annual average infant care costs and number of pediatricians per capita.
South Carolina was ranked 41.
North Carolina was ranked 42.
The ranked each state including the District of Columbia.
