(MARION COUNTY, SC)
The Marion County Animal Shelter will get a new building.
Anderson Brothers Bank donated a 12,000 square foot building near the Mullins city limits.
The building will now undergo renovations and expansions for what the shelter needs.
“Obviously we all love our pets and animals and want them to be taken care of and have compassion for animals that are homeless,” said Johnny Floyd, Marion County Executive of Anderson Brothers Bank. “The facility, the existing facilities, there is some issues with this should be a much better environment once the renovations are complete and are open here.”
Marion County took over shelter operations back in January.
