AYNOR, SC (WBTW) – A 20-year-old Aynor man has been charged with having sex with a minor after police collected evidence, Snapchat messages, and a journal.
Wendell Dwight Loomis was booked into the J. Reuben Long Detention Center on Thursday and faces a charge of criminal sexual conduct with a minor between the ages of 11 and 14, second degree.
A 14-year-old girl said Loomis forced her to have sex with him, according to the incident report. Police collected Snapchat messaged between and girl and Loomis about the incident, they said.
Police also collected journal entries by the girl about the incident and clothing that was worn by the girl at the time. The incident happened in October 2018.
Loomis remains in jail with no bond set.
