AYNOR, SC (WBTW) – Police have charged an Aynor man with attempted murder after they say he repeatedly hit another car from behind and caused it to flip over.
Seth Jarred Winburn, 24, of Aynor, faces an attempted murder charge following a report of a crash. The crash happened while Winburn was driving north on Nichols Highway near Joyner Swamp Road on March 30, police say.
According to the arrest warrant, police say Winburn struck a man’s vehicle from behind with his own vehicle multiple times. A female passenger also was in the car that was hit.
Police say Winburn then pushed the victim’s vehicle off the roadway causing it to flip over with both the man and woman inside.
Winburn was released from jail on Wednesday on a $30,000 bond.
