MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) The Horry County Police Department is investigating a possible attempted carjacking in the Myrtle Beach area.
According to an HCPD email, the incident happened Monday morning near Pond Cypress Lane near Waterford Plantation.
The surveillance image below shows the suspect vehicle as it drove through the Waterford Plantation area.
At this time, the suspect is believed to have driven a white Kia Optima with a paper tag.
He is described as a 18-22 year-old black male, skinny build, about 6’2”, wearing jeans and red/grey hoodie.
