GEORGETOWN, SC (WBTW) – Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office has filed charges against six Carvers Bay High School students accused of assaulting another teen inside the school.

A press release from the sheriff’s office says the victim is a 15-year-old who was assaulted in the school’s hallway on Monday.

The alleged attackers, all female students, have been charged with assault and assault and battery by mob 3rd degree. Breonna Holmes, 17, of Hemingway, was charged and transported to the Georgetown County Detention Center on Thursday, where she was held until posting bond.

Others accused are being treated as juveniles.
