MURRELLS INLET, SC –  The Atalaya Fall Festival and Haunted Castle at Huntington Beach State Park is Friday October 28th and Saturday October 29th.  The event will start at 6:00 pm and run until 9:00 pm.  The Atalaya “castle” will be the setting for an evening of fright-fully fun family entertainment! Enjoy 2 separate haunted house attractions: Little Scare, a not-too-scary maze of creepy rooms for the younger children, and Big Scare, a Haunted Castle for the brave at heart. There will also be carnival games, unique photo booth opportunities and “make and take” arts and crafts stations in the courtyard. Everyone will enjoy vintage spooky cartoons outdoors on the big screen, a “toast your own marshmallow” fire pit, local ghost stories around the bonfire, and more! Chick-fil-A, Colette’s Popcorn, and Anything Froz and Coffee Shop will have food and drinks available for purchase.

Entrance to both of the haunted houses, children’s crafts, carnival games, and marshmallows are all included in the event admission. Admission to this event is $10 for adults; $7 for children 6-15; and children 5 and under are free. The regular park and Atalaya admission fees will be waived during the festival.

This event offers activities to appeal to every age group; however, please note that some of the special effects used in the haunted castle may be too intense for younger children. This event goes on, rain or shine!-This is from a Press Release.
