One person has been arrested in connection to a shooting that happened in the 700 block of North Ocean Boulevard on Friday. 

On Sunday the Myrtle Beach Police Department said in a press release that Jaleel Lesane, 20, of Lumberton North Carolina had been arrested in connection to the case. 

Lesane is charged with Attempted Murder, Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Violent Crime, and Possession of a Firearm with an Obliterated Serial Number.

“Don’t come to our city to engage in criminal activity,”  said Chief Prock, “We value the safe and friendly atmosphere our citizens, business owners, and city employees have worked so hard to achieve. Those that violate our laws and ordinances will be held accountable for the crimes they commit.”
