The Myrtle Beach Seafood Festival will support local relief efforts for Horry and Georgetown Counties in the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew. In addition to the Horry County Special Olympics, a portion of the event proceeds will go to the Hurricane Matthew Relief Fund which aides in local disaster relief efforts in Horry and Georgetown Counties. Additional information about this recovery fund can be found at www.helpthegrandstrand.com. Recognizing that seventy percent of Horry County is still without power, organizers want to focus on giving back to the community, its residents and businesses that are the heart and soul of our beautiful beach destination.

Admission is free to attend and festival organizers encourage attendees to bring canned goods and bottled water to support the efforts of several local agencies that partner in post disaster relief efforts with the Eastern SC Chapter of the American Red Cross.

The festival will be free to attend and in addition to a variety of delicious seafood vendors and restaurants onsite selling seafood, will offer kid-friendly activities, live entertainment, a beer & wine garden and corn hole tournament hosted by Coastal Tailgating.

The festival will take place at the Burroughs & Chapin Pavilion Place, located between 8th and 9th Avenues North in Myrtle Beach, SC. (former Myrtle Beach Pavilion grounds)

Since the event is FREE to attend, festival goers will pay the food and merchandise vendors directly. There are no tickets to purchase for the festival. Food vendors participating in the festival include Bondfire Restaurant Group, Drunken’ Jacks Restaurant, Sea Captain’s House, Big Mike’s Soulfood, Unique Southern Eats, Jimmyz Hibachi, OMAR Chef Shriners, Hurricane’s Daiquiri Bar & Grill, Dirty Don’s Oyster Bar & Grill, Freshwater Fish Company, Chick-Fil-A, Sticky Fingers, Livin’ the Dream Ice Cream, B&B Outdoors, along with several others.
