MYRTLE BEACH (WBTW) – House of Blues Myrtle Beach will host it’s annual charity benefit event to raise funds for the North Myrtle Beach Humane Society this Saturday October 22nd from 4pm-8pm (mistake in video) as a rescheduled date due to Hurricane Matthew. The original date of October 8th had to be postponed until this weekend but fortunately the weather seems to look ideal for this Saturday’s make-up date.

Dogtoberfest 2016 is sponsored by Elliott Realty and features live music, dogs available for adoption, a silent auction and raffle. The event is open to the public and will take place on The Deck at House of Blues. There will be happy hour drink specials available and for this event we welcome dogs to join their owners on The Deck. Entertainment includes Brian Roessler from 4-6pm and Paleo Sun from 7-11pm.

“This is one of our favorite annual events for a great cause” said Dawn Temples Knopff Marketing and Promotions Manager for House of Blues Myrtle Beach. “We hope to find some homes for shelter dogs as well as raise money to help with the new shelter that the Humane Society is hoping to bring to our area.”Contact:Dawn Temples
