MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – If you’re looking for some old-fashioned family fun this weekend, then you may want to check out a ballgame.
Coastal Carolina University’s Baseball Team has home games all weekend. Tickets are always open to the public and usually range between $5 and $20 depending on your seat selection. All games are held at Coastal’s new Springs Brooks Stadium on campus which was part of a 15.2 million dollar renovation …one that included a new concessions stand for those food lovers out there.
There are two game choices per day:
Friday:
12:00pm – UNC Greensboro vs. Illinois
4:00pm – UNC Greensboro vs. CCU
Saturday:
12:00pm – CCU vs. Illinois
4:00pm – CCU vs. Illinois
Sunday:
11:00am – CCU vs. Illinois
3:00pm – CCU vs. UNC Greensboro
Tickets are easy to purchase: either get them online at goccusports.com, or contact the athletics ticket office at 347-8499/Tickets@coastal.edu.
Coastal is partnering with Project Localove for both of Sunday’s games and collecting donations in an effort to provide essential items… Like toothbrushes, socks, and shampoo… To the homeless in Horry County. Those that donate one of these items will get either a free t-shirt or a $5 coupon to a future baseball game.
