CUPERTINO (KRON) — Apple unveiled a smaller iPhone, cheaper Apple Watch and a new iPad Pro in Monday’s spring press event at the Apple Headquarters in Cupertino.

Apple CEO Tim Cook kicked off the event 10 a.m. by addressing the Apple vs. FBI case and reiterating his commitment to protect iPhone encryption and privacy.

The event brought media from all around the world in anticipation for the new gadgets. Last year in spring, Apple released the Apple Watch.

All products can be ordered on March 24 and will be released on March 31.

iPhone SE – Starts at $399 for 16 GB

9.7-inch with retina display. Similar to 12.7-inch, but smaller. Smart keyboard and pencil. 12 mp camera with 4K video. First iPad to come in Rose Gold.

Apple Watch -$299

Price dropped to only $299, a $50 price cut. Now with ‘woven nylon’ bands in many colors.

The company also announced new initiatives on using its devices for healthcare research and patient care, along with an aggressive environmental initiative, featuring a commitment to power the company with 100% alternative energy sources and an electronics recycling program called Apple Renew.
