KINGSTREE (WBTW) — Williamsburg County sheriff’s deputies arrested a woman in connection with her teenage daughter’s disappearance earlier this month.
Investigators said 33-year-old Antoinette Harley of Andrews is charged with unlawful neglect of a child after the reported disappearance of her daughter, Alizaye Harley. 14-year-old Alizaye was found safe near Augusta, Georgia by law enforcement after a several-day search last week.
Deputies think her mother knew the girl had engaged in sexual activities during the time she had been missing, and because the mother didn’t notify law enforcement, she put the girl’s life in danger.
Antoinette Harley appeared before a magistrate, and was released on bond.
