MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) An ambulance carrying a patient and crew was involved in an accident Saturday morning on Highway 17 bypass near Grand Dunes Boulevard.
According to Sgt Jim Allen a passenger car struck the ambulance in the right rear side causing the ambulance to flip onto it’s side. The ambulance crew and the patient they were carrying were all transported to Grand Strand Regional Medical Center. Each of them is in good condition.
The driver and passengers in the car were not injured. The accident is still under investigation.
