People battling depression have a greater risk of developing Parkinson’s disease. That’s according to Swedish researchers who looked at more than 140,000 people. They found within one year of the study depressed people were 3 times more likely to develop Parkinsons, 15 to 25 years after the study, they were 50 percent more likely to develop the neurological disease. Assaults on campus
Disturbing numbers on sex assaults on campus. Researchers from Brown University looked at a university in New York and found nearly 19-percent of women had experienced some kind of sexual assault during their freshmen year. SOURCE – Adolescent Health/MedDay/CBS

Baby gender
The gender of a baby may affect a mothers risk for diabetes. Canadian researchers found pregnant women expecting a boy were more likely to develop gestational diabetes.
