Women who are physically active a few times a week have a lower risk of heart disease, stroke and blood clots. That’s according to British researchers who studied the habits of more than 1-million women. New findings suggest menopause symptoms can last more than seven years. Researchers in North Carolina tracked data from nearly 1500 women. They found 80-percent of women experience frequent symptoms such as hot flashes and night sweats . For many African-American women the symptoms lasted more than a decade.
