MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – The City of Myrtle Beach says 9th Avenue North at Ocean Boulevard will be closed to traffic for the next two weeks.

The Ocean Boulevard streetscape contractor is scheduled to complete the concrete intersection and crosswalks, prompting the city to close 9th Avenue North at Ocean Boulevard for 14 days.

Ocean Boulevard traffic won’t be allowed to turn onto 9th Avenue North, but otherwise won’t be affected. Eastbound traffic on 9th Avenue North will be detoured onto Withers Alley or Chester Street. The project is set to be complete February 10.
