FOLSOM, Pa. (AP) – At age 99, Francis Doyle is a newlywed. He recently tied the knot with his 88-year-old girlfriend Mary Waltz.
So, why get hitched? Doyle says they’re old school and just living together would be a sin.
They said their vows about a month ago in a Pennsylvania church. The new Mr. and Mrs. Doyle are both widowed.
They tell the Delaware County Daily Times they checked with their kids first to make sure they were OK with the pending marriage.
