HARTSVILLE, SC (WBTW) – Investigators say a Hartsville woman is dead after a two car crash Friday afternoon.
The accident occurred around 1:45 p.m. on Friday at the intersection of Howle Street and Lakeview Boulevard. According to Sony Collins with SCHP, the crash happened when the driver of a Taurus was trying to turn left on Lakeview Boulevard and pulled out in front of a pickup truck.
Two people were in the truck, and both were transported to the hospital.
J Todd Hardee with the Darlington County Coroners Office says Ann E. Oneal, 81, of Hartsville died when her Taurus collided with the other vehicle.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene Hardee says.
This crash remains under investigation by the Darlington County Coroners Office and SC Highway Patrol.
