FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – Undercover Florence deputies arrest six people on prostitution-related charges last week.
According to a press release, officers received complaints of suspected prostitution near businesses at US 52 and I-95, as well as the US 76 and I-95 interchanges.
According to investigators, an undercover officer posed as a prostitute or someone seeking a prostitute on an internet website frequently used for solicitation at a hotel on Lucas Street on June 9.
Below is a list of those arrested:
Montario James Williams, age 36, of Florence, was charged with assisting/promoting prostitution.
Walter Oliver, Jr., age 55, of Beaufort, SC was charged charged with solicitation of prostitution.
Lizzie Alexie Kissiah, age 22, Hartsville was charged with solicitation of prostitution.
Andrew Lavern McPherson, age 27, of Hartsville was charged with solicitation of prostitution.
Antonio Teofile Brown, age 25, of Florence was arrested charged with solicitation of prostitution.
Ashley Tinika Cooper, age 21, of Florence was charged with solicitation of prostitution and giving false information to law enforcement.
All suspects were released from the Florence County Detention Center on personal recognizance bonds.
