COLUMBIA, SC – If you bought a Mega Millions ticket in Little River, you should check your tickets. When claimed, someone will win $4 million in Friday night’s drawing.
The ticket sold at the Circle K at 860 US 17 matched all five white ball numbers drawn (1, 34, 43, 44, and 63). Had the Megaball number “11” matched, the ticket would have been worth the jackpot, $111 million.
This is South Carolina’s second largest Mega Millions ticket sold, eclipsed only by a $5 million win in October of last year. And this marks Little River’s second $1 million plus win. In November of 2010, a Powerball ticket worth $1 million was sold in Little River.
The odds of winning $1 MILLION are 1 in 18,492,204, and the odds of getting a 4X are 1 in 5.
The Mega Millions jackpot for Tuesday’s drawing is an estimated $122 million.
