NEBO, N.C.  – A North Carolina couple has been charged after four children tested positive for meth, police said Wednesday.

According to the McDowell County Sheriff’s office, the investigation started when a relative of one of the children went to police and filed a complaint about drug use in the home.

The children range in age between 4 and 12 and each tested positive for methamphetamine.

Kimberly Dawn Lowery, 29, and Nathan Todd Vallini, 27 were arrested and charged with four misdemeanor counts of contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.
