HOLLY SPRINGS, N.C. — A minivan and a truck towing a boat crashed injuring several people on Sunday afternoon near Holly Springs.

Four victims were hurt in the crash, which happened around 5:30 p.m. at Cass Holt Road and Rex Road, the N.C. State Highway Patrol said.

The crash caused the boat to come off a trailer and end up on the side of the road. The minivan crashed into a stone wall at the entrance to a neighborhood, which is located southwest of Holly Springs.

The four people who were hurt were taken to WakeMed in Cary.  A North Carolina Trooper on the scene said that he believed the injuries were not life-threatening.

The cause of the crash was not clear.
