Four people were arrested after investigators say they found drugs in a Hartsville motel room.
The Darlington County Sheriff’s Drug Enforcement Unit and the Hartsville Police Department discovered made the discovery while executing a search warrant in a room at the Hartsville Motel on February 20. The motel is located at 805 N. Fifth St. in Hartsville.
Lt. Robert Kilgo, spokesman for the Darlington County Sheriff’s Office, says investigators found five fentanyl patches, 5 grams of heroin, 2.9 grams of methamphetamine, ten 30 mg oxycodone tablets and $700 in cash.
The following people were charged in connection to the investigation, according to Kilgo:
- Dwayne Coleman, 45, of Darlington: Charged with five counts of distribution of a schedule II controlled substances and two counts of possession with the intent to distribute a schedule II controlled substance.
- Priscilla Ann Metropol, 40, of Darlington: Charged with one count of distribution of a schedule II controlled substance.
- Crystal Renee Dixon, 32, of Hartsville: Charged with one count of possession of methamphetamine.
- Garret Lamont Campbell, 40, of Hartsville: Charged with trafficking heroin, distribution of methamphetamine and possession with the intent to distribute methamphetamine.
Metropol and Dixon were released from the W. Glenn Campbell Detention Center on $5,000 and $3,000 bonds, respectively. Both Coleman and Campbell remain in custody.
