Four people have been arrested and charged after an investigation at the Studio 54 nightclub. 

During the early morning hours of July 10, Darlington County Sheriff’s Office investigators conducted a compliance investigation at the Studio 54 nightclub, located on Timmonsville Highway in the Darlington area, a press release from the DCSO says. 

According to the release, investigators recovered 4.5 grams of crack cocaine, 4.3 grams of methamphetamine, 3.2 grams of cocaine, 194.6 grams of marijuana, 10 units of ecstasy, 16 schedule II pills, 3 schedule IV pills, a loaded 9mm handgun, weight scales and counterfeit money.

The four people charged are:

Britteany Charelle Smith, 22, of Darlington- charges include two counts of possession of a controlled substance schedule IV and simple possession of marijuana.

Rakeem Terrell Mazon, 24, of Darlington- charges include possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. 

Eric Sterling Dubose, 21, of Darlington- charges include simple possession of marijuana. 

Tremel Andre Ervin, 28, of Darlington- charges include simple possession of marijuana. 

DCSO investigators were assisted by the Florence County Sheriff’s Office, the Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office, the Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office, the Lake City Police Department and the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division, the release also says. More arrests are expected.
