FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – Florence Police arrested and charged a man wanted in connection to a shooting last Monday.

Maj. Carlos Raines, spokesman for the Florence Police Department, says the shooting happened April 25 in the 700-block of West Ingram Street after two men “had words” with each other. Raines says one man was shot in the arm after attempting to hit the other.

The victim was taken to the hospital, where police were later notified of the incident.

Investigators say Rodney Marcus Titus, 37, of Florence, turned himself in to police Tuesday morning in connection to the incident. Florence Police charged Titus with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

A judge issued Titus a $20,000 surety bond on the attempted murder charge and a $5,000 surety bond on the weapons charge.
