EASLEY, S.C. – The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office says the deaths of twin 3-year-old boys have been ruled accidental drownings.
Both boys died after falling into a pool.
The Anderson County coroner says 3-year-old Caleb Marcengill died at the hospital on Saturday. His twin brother, Ezekiel Marcengill, died Sunday afternoon in the hospital.
The boys fell into the pool at a home on Pisgah Road in Easley just before 2:30 p.m. Saturday.
The coroner says the family was at the house for a party. He thinks the boys were in the water for about 15 minutes before they were discovered.
The coroner says both boys died from drowning and that no autopsy is needed.
