GREENVILLE CO., S.C. (WSPA) – A toddler has died after a house fire on Perry Avenue, according to the Greenville County Coroner.

The coroner says 3-year-old Silas Green died at Greenville Memorial Hospital at about 3:08 p.m. Sunday.

The fire happened between 10:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Thursday.

The Greenville Fire Department responded to the fire.

The child’s mother and three siblings were able to make it out of the house.

Silas and his father were found inside the house by firefighters.

Both were transported by EMS to Greenville Memorial Hospital.

The father was then transferred to the Augusta Burn Center.

Silas was admitted to the Pediatric ICU, where he later died.

An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.

The Greenville Police Department, Greenville Fire Department, and Greenville County Coroner’s Office are investigating.
