3 wanted for attempted murder by Horry County police taken into custody

The three people wanted by Horry County police for attempted murder have been taken into custody.

According to a tweet from the Horry County Police Department, Dorein Vereen, Jerron Bellamy, and Rakim Robinson were taken into custody as of 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

An incident report from the HCPD says officers were called to the Juniper Bay Road area around 3:25 p.m. on August 22 in reference to a shooting into a dwelling. Officers gathered information that the location might have been shot by a small firearm. Responding officers found the residence was shot by a weapon and said in the report three shooters were believed to be involved. 

According to J. Reuben Long Detention Center booking records, Vereen, 20, was booked around 3:50 p.m. on Tuesday. He is charged with five counts of attempted murder, discharging firearms into a dwelling, unlawful carrying of a pistol, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. No bail has been set for Vereen.

Bellamy, 21, was booked around 11:35 a.m. on Wednesday, according to booking records. He is charged with five counts of attempted murder, discharging firearms into a dwelling, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and unlawful carrying of a pistol. No bond has been set for Bellamy. 

Booking records show Robinson, 21, was booked around 12 p.m. on Wednesday. No charges are listed for Robinson.
