3 Myrtle Beach teens jailed for attempted murder after shooting

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Three Myrtle Beach teens and two juveniles have been arrested after a shooting on Washington Street in Myrtle Beach Thursday night, according to Myrtle Beach Police.

A 17-year-old Myrtle Beach man was first arrested in connection with the shooting and charged with attempted murder after reportedly shooting at another person Thursday night, according to police.

A Myrtle Beach Police incident report details how Ahmad Demont Pryor, 17, of Myrtle Beach, was arrested after witnesses say he fired a gun at a man on Washington Street Thursday evening around 8:40 p.m. The victim’s mother called police and when officers arrived explained that she heard something outside, so she went to her door. She saw a man shoot at her son, but the victim left the home with another family member before police arrived, according to the report.

Another witness told police he heard what he initially thought were fireworks and went to his front door before discovering that he actually heard several gun shots. Bullet holes were discovered in a home on Washington Street. No one was injured during the shooting.

Pryor was identified as the shooter and was booked into the J. Reuben Long Detention Center at 12:31 a.m. Sunday morning. Pryor faces one count of attempted murder and remains behind bars with no bail set.

Myrtle Beach Police announced four more arrests in connection with this shooting Tuesday afternoon.

According to officers, Ryan Jobe Harrell, 18, and Dajour Marquise Davon Wilson, 19, both of Myrtle Beach, are each charged with attempted murder and one count of discharging a firearm into a dwelling.

Police say two juveniles were also arrested in connection with the crime, but their names are not being released at this time.
