CONWAY, SC (WBTW) – Horry County Police arrested three people in connection with the collection of mail stolen from mailboxes throughout the county.

According to a post on the police department’s Facebook page, officers recovered stolen mail and are holding it for the owners to claim. While the post does not specify dates of when the mail was stolen, officials do offer a number of street names to which the mail was addressed.29588

Horry County Police spokesperson Krystal Dotson says officers have arrested three people in connection with the case. Ashley Michael Hewett, 38, Andrea Jane Arruda, 29, of Myrtle Beach, and David Anthony Todd, 27, of Conway, were booked into J. Reuben Long Detention Center on Monday. Each suspect faces one charge of receiving stolen goods, along with a number of drug charges for Hewett and Todd. Arruda also faces a weapons charge.
