HARTSVILLE, SC (WBTW) – Darlington deputies arrested three people and a hazmat team was called in to clean a Hartsville home after a meth lab was discovered Monday.

Sheriff Wayne Byrd says the Darlington County Sheriff’s Office was called to Hoffman Road in Hartsville, about a complaint of a meth lab located at the home. When Deputies arrived, they immediately noticed signs and items used in a to make and operate a meth lab.

The Darlington County Drug Enforcement Unit and Hartsville Fire Department also responded to the scene. During the execution of a search warrant, agents discovered meth, an active meth lab, needles and other drug paraphernalia. A hazmat clean-up crew was called to the home for clean-up and disposal of the hazardous material.

Heather Michelle Dixon, 31, of Hartsville, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, manufacturing methamphetamine and disposal or assisting disposal of methamphetamine waste.

Charles Needham Marshall, III, 36, of Hartsville, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, manufacturing methamphetamine and disposal or assisting disposal of methamphetamine waste.

Phillip Cash Wallace, 34, of Hartsville, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, manufacturing methamphetamine and disposal or assisting disposal of methamphetamine waste.
