HARTSVILLE, SC (WBTW) – Three people from Hartsville were arrested at a home Thursday after remains consistent with a meth lab were found by firefighters.
Hartsville Fire Department responded to a call about a fire on Crowley Street Thursday, but on arrival noticed several burn piles with contents relating to a possible methamphetamine lab.
Sheriff Wayne Byrd says firefighters called for deputies and the Darlington County Drug Enforcement Unit began their investigation.
Danny Larue Moore II, 32, Eric Michael Stokes, 31, and Lisa Marie Winburn Matteson, 31, were all charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine and illegal disposal of methamphetamine waste.
