HARTSVILLE, SC (WBTW) – One person is dead after a single car crash in Darlington County.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol says the crash happened around 11 p.m. Thursday on New Hopewell Road near Melody Lane between Hartsville and Society Hill.
Troopers say the driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, ran off the left side of the road and hit several trees.
On Friday, Darlington County Coroner, J Todd Hardee confirmed that Rauchavious Keyeirre Sellers, 26, of Hartsville, was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
The crash remains under investigation by the Darlington County Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
