FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) One person died in a fatal crash Saturday morning on I-95 near the 159 mile marker.

According to South Carolina Highway Patrol the singular car accident happened when the driver of a pickup truck overcorrected. When crews arrived on the scene the vehicle was in flames. The body is being autopsied at MUSC.

Crews were able to contain the fire to the vehicle and the surrounding wooded area in about 15 minutes.

The vehicle is believed to be a Dodge Dakota pickup truck.

Coroner Keith von Lutcken identifies the victim as Trevion Tamas Goodman of Florence.

The accident is still under investigation by the SCHP and the Florence County Coroner’s Office.
