COLUMBIA, SC- Columbia Police say two University of South Carolina men’s basketball players have been arrested.
The freshmen players Eric Cobb and Jamall Gregory were suspended before the team’s NIT game, Tuesday.
Officers say the arrests are related to a property crimes investigation involving damage to cars with a BB gun.
According to WIS, the two basketball payers consulted with the Fifth Circuit Solicitor’s office and Eric Cobb was charged with Malicious Injury to Private Property and Third Degree Assault and battery. Jamall Gregory is charged with One County of Malicious Injury to Real Property, and three Counts of Malicious Injury to Personal Property.
