CONWAY, SC (WBTW) – A crash in Horry County killed two people and sent seven others to the hospital.
The crash happened around 6 p.m. Thursday on Highway 501, near White Deer Ridge in the Aynor area.
Corporal Sonny Collins of South Carolina Highway Patrol says a 2004 Ford van headed South on 501 ran off the right side of the road and into a tree.
Collins says the crash killed the driver and front seat passenger. Medics took seven other people in the van to the hospital.
Horry County Deputy Coroner Michelle McSpadden identified the victims as Richard Chapman, 25, and Danielle Lemmerman,26, both of Cartersville, GA.
