Upon arriving, officers spoke with a female victim, who reportedly stated that she was inside her hotel room when an old friend knocked on the door. When the suspect knocked on the door, this victim said they didn’t know the second suspect was there too. Both suspects allegedly forced their way into the room and asked the victims were the money was. This victim reportedly told the suspects that his wallet was in his car.

Both suspects then reportedly started looking through the room and found a wallet belonging to the female victim, before running out of the room, adds the report. The female victim said her wallet had about $200 cash inside.

According to the report, the suspects were seen on security footage entering the hotel, getting on to the elevator, standing at the victim’s hotel room door, running out of the room, and running west on Ocean Blvd., before leaving camera view in an unknown direction.

The report also said that after further speaking with the victims, officers learned that the female victim posted to her Snapchat that she was in town, and that one of the suspects saw it and messaged the victim to hang out. The victim reportedly agreed, and both victims and this suspect met at a bar.
